Mountain Studio is an independent artist run project space and residency. Providing time, space, solitude. Artists are invited to explore The Mountain. Discovering what insights it will lend to their creative practice. Mountain Studio is open to exploration in all ways of making. Our environment can lend itself to research and refinement of existing bodies of work or a space for new ideas and projects to come life.

Operating on a small scale and outside the usual structures, Mountain Studio is an artist run initiative hosted in the home and studio of Anna and Chris Stroud-Schultz. With this in mind, Mountain Studio considers hospitality as a form of artistic support, creating space for curiosity and creative growth for both artist and hosts.
